Locked & Lovely product were developed via trial and error as the I, became frustrated with the lack of truly natural hair and body care products. Sure many products touted the natural and/or organic labels, but after reading the ingredients, found more chemicals than botanicals. I began with making my own cold process soaps for personal use. After giving them away as gifts and having them requested, I began to offer more of my home beauty remedies to friends and family who ranted and raved about them. So, here I am offering them to you.
Although many of the products were developed to care for the Locked Lovely's Sisterlocks, many hair types can benefit from the Locked & Lovely products. Weave and braid wearers, traditional lock wearers, natural hair, and these products do not only benefit african american hair types, but other ethnic groups as well.
Locked & Lovely products are mostly natural and made when ordered to guarantee freshness. For your safety, we do use a mild chemical preservative, but as these products are made to order, you can request any product outside of bar soap sans this chemical. These items will need to be refrigerated to maintain freshness and consumed within six months.
